Privacy Policy

even is an app by Amiko Technology LLC (“we” or “us”). This policy covers the even app.

What we collect

  • Account: a random account ID, your settings, and your name and email if you sign in or add them.
  • Face scans: your selfie or a photo you choose, details like head angle and lighting, and your results. Your phone also maps the areas of your face so results land in the right place. This map is saved with that scan, isn’t sent to the AI, is deleted with the scan, and is never used to recognize you.
  • What you add: skin quiz answers (like skin type, age range, concerns, current routine including any prescriptions, and your city), routine check-ins, diary moods, notes and photos, saved products, product label photos and barcodes, and coach chats.
  • Purchases: your subscription status. Apple handles payment, so we never see your card.
  • Device and usage: device model, iOS version, IP address, how you use the app (like screens viewed) and crash reports.
  • Support: emails you send us.

How we use it

To give you your scores, routine, product matches, coach answers, weather tips and reminders, to run your account and subscription, to fix problems, and to answer you. Your face photos and face map are used only for your results, never for ads or marketing. We don’t sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.

AI analysis

even uses Claude, an AI made by Anthropic. We send it your face photos, label photos and coach messages, plus your quiz answers, scores, routine, saved products and name to personalize your results. The app asks for your okay before your first scan. Anthropic doesn’t train its models on this data, and deletes it within 30 days unless it must keep it longer for safety or legal reasons.

Who we share it with

Only companies that help run even:

  • Google Firebase: sign-in, database, photo storage, servers, analytics and crash reports.
  • Anthropic: the AI analysis above.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple, payments, security checks and city search.
  • RevenueCat: subscriptions (your account ID and purchase history).
  • Resend: sign-in code emails.
  • Open-Meteo, Open Beauty Facts and UPCitemdb: weather and barcode lookups. They get only an approximate location or a barcode number.

These companies must protect your data at least as well as this policy does. When you tap a store link, that store’s privacy policy applies. We may also share data if the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete single scans in Settings > Manage scans.

To delete everything, tap Delete account in Settings, or email us your account ID (tap the ID at the bottom of Settings to copy it). Your account, photos, scans, answers, routine, diary, products and chats are deleted right away. Purchase records at Apple and RevenueCat, usage and crash data not linked to your account, and short-term server and email logs are kept on our providers’ own schedules.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

Children

even isn’t for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you think a child under 13 has used even, email us and we’ll delete their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post it here and update the date above.
